Issue Details

I recently got an NI-9326 Counter Input module installed on a cDAQ or cRIO system with NI-DAQmx driver installed. It shows up properly in NI-MAX and there doesn't seem to be any errors with the module. However, when I try to acquire data with the module, it looks like it is not reading anything. Is there anything else I need to do to make this module work?

Solution

This NI-9326 is a particular counter input module where you can configure your desired voltage threshold level for the counter, and also the hysteresis. If you don't configure these values according to your signal, it is very likely that the default configuration of the NI-9326 is missing your signal.  Once these parameters are defined in the LabVIEW example, the module should be ready to read your counter signal.
