Unable to Find Firmware File to Perform Firmware Update on RIO Target

Issue Details

I tried following the article Upgrading or Downgrading Firmware on an NI Linux Real-Time Device, but was unable to find the folder path <Program Files>\National Instruments\Shared\Firmware\ 

How can I make sure my firmware files are installed?
 

Solution

1. Go to NI Package Manager >> Installed and look for NI CompactRIO and click on the Install or remove related packages button.

2. Confirm that NI-RIO cRIO Firmware for NI Linux-RT Real-Time Embedded Targets is checked. If not, check if and install it.
