Activex Error -2146827859 Using Teststand IVI Step Types

Issue Details

The following error message is displayed every time any of the TestStand IVI step types is executed in the sequence:  
ActiveX component can’t create object
Source: TSIviStepTypes
Error Code: -2146827859, User-defined error code License Manager

Solution

  1. Repair the TestStand installation following the guidelines of Repair Software in NI Package Manager (NIPM)
  2. If the problem persists, reinstall TestStand.
