Is LabVIEW 64-Bit Able to Use Modbus I/O

Issue Details

I have a LabVIEW 64-bit and I wanted to use Modbus I/O in the LabVIEW project. I have installed the Modbus I/O server and Network Shared Variable in Real-Time Target. When I have connected to the Real-Time Target in a LabVIEW project, the Modbus I/O server list is blank as shown below. Is this expected?

Solution

It should be expected. In reference to LabVIEW 2023 Q3 Readme, LabVIEW 64-bit does not support the Datalogging and Supervisory Control (DSC) Module. So, it`s reasonable that its sub-package (Modbus IO server) can`t be used in LabVIEW 64-bit. The workaround is to use LabVIEW 32-bit.
