Unable to Export Report As PPT Format in DIAdem

Issue Details

I want to export a report as .PPT format using DIAdem. When exporting report, I noticed that format available is only .PPTX as shown in the image below.

When I tried to use scripting and change the extension to .PPT, the file is still saved as .PPTX. Does that mean DIAdem uses .PPTX as the only default when exporting report to PowerPoint?

Solution

Yes. PPTX is the only supported PowerPoint file type in DIAdem. Whenever DIAdem saves a report as PowerPoint, it uses the default .PPTX format. If you want to change it to .PPT format, you need to open the file and manually save it in .PPT format.
