Does Silverlight Installation Required to use LabVIEW Remote Panel Methods?

Issue Details

Due to security issues, my company does not allow Silverlight installation on the company PC.
My application is using remote panel thus I want to make sure if Silverlight installation is required to use LabVIEW Remote Panel Methods?

Solution

Silverlight installation is not required to run LabVIEW Remote Panel Methods such as Remote Panel:Open Connection To Server or Remote Panel:Client Request Control.

Additional Information

Silverlight is required to run remote panel in Web Browser such as Internet Explorer or Edge but not required for running remote panel in LabVIEW.
