Connect button is Grayed Out in NI-MAX

Issue Details

I need to configure some options on my Real Time target in NI-MAX that require Admin user account, but I cannot log in because the “Connect” button as show below is disabled.

Solution

This is most probably due to a Firewall blocking some communications ports. You have to add some exceptions inside the firewall to overcome this issue. If you don’t have enough privileges to do it in your system, you need to contact your local IT administrator and share the following document which described the ports to open.
