My PXIe Controller Cannot Connect to the Network

Issue Details

I have a PXIe-8861 controller and when I plug the Ethernet cable, my controller doesn't join the local Network and cannot connect to the internet. How can I fix this?

Solution

The PXIe controller has a network adapter that needs to be activated and have the correct driver installed.
To install or reinstall the network adapter of a PXIe Controller, make sure you get the driver from the official NI download page and look for "[controller model] peripheral drivers".
 

Additional Information

The downloaded package will have drivers for every peripheral device on the PXIe Controller which includes the network adapter, USB interfaces, graphics card, and storage management utilities.
