Issue Details

I am trying to migrate PharLap Application to NI Linux Real-Time. As a first step, I am attempting to create an image with the "Get and Set Real-Time System Image.vi". On running this VI, I get the following error:

Error -2147220352 occured at nisyscfg.lvlib:Create System Image(Folder).vi: 710001
Possible reason(s):
NI System Configuration: General install error.

Error Message: -2147220352

Solution

The error is caused when the NI System Configuration driver is corrupted or not properly installed. To resolve the issue, please follow the steps below:
  1. Please check the compatibility of the NI Hardware and Software Operating System Compatibility to install the compatible version for the PXI Hardware.
  2. Update or Install the NI Linux RT System Image driver to the latest version.
  3. After installing NI Linux RT System Image, the NI System Configuration will be automatically updated to the corresponding latest version and thus solves the issue.

NI System Configuration is typically installed to complement NI Software and Drivers, the easiest way to update NI System Configuration is to install the specific NI Driver for your hardware.
