Issue Details

I'm changing the calibration dates of my assets and I get an immediate notification for approaching calibration alarm, but I can't get the same behavior for past due alarm.

Solution

The Calibration Alarms Rules in SystemLink are exclusive which means that if you have an active alarm for an Asset Approaching Calibration you won't get a new alarm instance for the Past alarm of the same Asset.

If the Past Calibration Alarm is not prompting as expected and you went through a migration or upgrade of SystemLink please update the External Calibration information for your assets, you may delete the existing one and re-enter it back. This should refresh it for the Alarms to trigger.

Additional Information

If you notice you are not getting the expected behavior for the Approaching Calibration Alarm, keep in mind you can edit the Number of days for the 'Approaching Recommended Calibration Due Date' group:
  1. Access Assets tab in your SystemLink Web interface.
  2. Click the Gear icon in the top right.
  3. Select Calibration Policy.
