Input Voltage Range for CPS-8910

Issue Details

The specification document mentions 12V as the input voltage for CPS-8910 but does not define any range (maximum, minimum values). I am designing my own power supply for this device and need to understand the acceptable fluctuations. What is the input voltage range allowed for CPS-8910?

Solution

CPS-8910 acceptable power supply should be 12V +/- 5%. As long as the buck-boost converter of the designed power supply (or any other power source) remains with in this bound, it will be acceptable for the device.

Additional Information

Applying input voltage outside the tolerance of the device may result in unexpected behavior and can also damage the device.
