Error 4317 When Starting the Skyline Service Manager With SystemLink Server

Issue Details

I have installed SystemLink and I am unable to start the Skyline Service Manager using the SystemLink Server. When I try to run the service I get error 4317, what troubleshooting steps can I try to resolve this issue.

Solution

In order to troubleshoot this error please follow these steps:
1. Open the NI SystemLink Server Configuration and try to restart the services manually.
2. Get more information about the specific error triggering this behavior by taking a look at the log located at C:\ProgramData\RabbitMQ\log\rabbit@localhost.log
3. Use the Windows Event Viewer to get more information about the error.
4. This issue can be caused by the Windows Event Log not being set to overwrite. The Skyline service might not be able to run if it cannot write to the Windows Event Log.
