Error -201283 When Using PXIe-4113 or PXI-4110

Issue Details

I am using a PXIe-4113 or PXI-4110 programmable power supply. When I try to test the devices in NI MAX (or during the test) I am getting an error:
 
 ERROR -201283 Internal serial communication bus failed.

How can I fix it?

Solution

Here are some advices which can lead to a solution:
  • Check for any physical damage on the device.
  • Reset the device from NI MAX.
  • Reboot the chassis.
  • Try other modules in the same slot, and see if the problem comes from the slot.
If the above mentioned steps do not help, please contact NI Technical Support for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process.
