Issue Details

I have upgraded my LabVIEW to version 2021 and installed NI-Industrial Communications for EtherCAT driver 21.5. I have verified that I have installed all required software and driver but when creating a new project in LabVIEW 2021, it does not show EtherCAT master when I try to add the target. The picture below is the expected behavior on the previous version of LabVIEW.

Solution

This issue is a bug in LabVIEW 2021. Our RnD is aware and has been working on this issue. You are advised to use LabVIEW 2021 SP1 or LabVIEW 2020 or below for now.
