How To Show Correct Characters In NI OCR Training

I want to train characters detection in a specific language through NI OCR Training Tool, when pasting the characters the output is shown into the Correct String textbox in the OCR Training application as question marks, it looks like they are not recognized by the application itself.

Following these steps can be possible to correctly detect characters.
  1. Change OS's region to the one specific for your country;
  • Settings  >> Time & Language >> Region.
  • Under Country or region, select your new region.
  • You can switch back to your original region at any time.
  1. Change Language for non-Uni-code programs. 
  • Control Panel >> Clock and Region >> Administrative Tab

Pay attention to the specific multiple localizations of the language of your interest. For example, Chinese has simplified language from China and Singapore.

After those changes, correct characters should be shown in Correct String box.
