Solution
If your chassis does not power on normally, try the following steps to identify and resolve the issue:
- Remove all modules from the chassis and attempt to power it on again.
- Verify that the chassis is connected to a working power outlet.
- Turn off the chassis and disconnect AC power, then inspect the chassis for a tripped circuit breaker. If it is tripped, reset the breaker before reconnecting AC power and turning the chassis back on.
- Try using a different power cord.
- Test the power supply in another compatible chassis. If this second chassis does not power on, the power supply may require repair or replacement.
- If available, try powering the chassis using a different power supply.
- For chassis that use dual power supplies, switch the power supplies between the rear slots and test the chassis again.
If the front-panel LEDs blink green and the fans operate at full speed, the chassis firmware may be corrupted. Update or reinstall the chassis firmware and restart the system.
