Solution
This error can occur due to a corrupt NI MAX database. Please try the following method first in order to have your PXIe-6570/1 recognized without the error.
- Shutdown the PXI chassis.
- Remove the PXIe-6570/1 from the PXI chassis
- Turn the PXI on and open NI MAX
- Open Devices and Interface on NI MAX, and have NI MAX recognize the PXI chassis without the NI Digital Pattern Instrument
- Shutdown the PXI chassis again
- Re-insert the PXIe-6570/1 into the PXI chassis
- Turn the PXI on and open NI MAX
- Open Devices and Interface on NI MAX, and have NI MAX recognize the PXI chassis with the NI Digital Pattern Instrument
- Test if the error occurs with DPE or LabVIEW
If the method above does not solve this issue, reset your NI MAX database. The instruction for resetting the NI MAX database can be found in
the article below.
Please make sure to back up your database if you have set NI-DAQmx tasks, channels, custom scales, etc. If resetting the NI MAX database does not solve the issue, uninstall and reinstall the NI Digital Pattern driver.
