SLSC Switch Initialize with Topology Gives Error Code -250852

Issue Details

I am trying to use NI LabVIEW SLSC Switch "Initialize with Topology.vi" and I receive the following error:

Error -250852 occurred at an unidentified location.

Possible reason(s):
The operation failed due to an authentication failure. Check that you are using the correct login credentials for this SLSC device.

Solution

This error comes from having non-default user settings on the SLSC chassis. You can return this back to the factory default authentication by holding the Reset button for more than 5 seconds, as described in the User Manual.
