LabVIEW Crashes With Access Violation Error When Using Excel_Insert_Textbox.vi

Issue Details

LabVIEW suddenly crashes with an Access Violation (0xC0000005).

When looking at the crash report lvlog.txt, the error is coming from Excel_Insert_Textbox.vi from the NI report generation tool kit.
 

Solution

You can either
  •  updating installation of Microsoft office
  •  try carrying out a Quick Repair of Microsoft Office
