Asynchronous Step Works Independently of the Sequence in the TestStand

To run the VI next to the normal sequence in TestStand to be able to monitor/debug. 

To solve this issue, we need to execute a step asynchronously and change the settings of it.

We need to add a “sequence call” step to the test sequence and put our asynchronous step there. Also, we should configure the sequence call like is shown below:

  • Choose the right execution option:ansem.png
  • Then select settings:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         ansem 1.png                                                                                                                     
  • From the settings, disable this step:                                                                                                                                                ansem 2.png
