Error -200303 in DIAdem DAC Counter Measurement

Issue Details

I try to do a hardware-timed NI-DAQmx counter measurement in DIAdem DAC. When I run the code I get the following error message.

Error in PrepareMeasureStart
Error No.:-200303
: NIDAQmx returns the following error:
External sample clock source must be specified for this application.

Is it possible to do hardware-timed counter measurements in DIAdem DAC?

Solution

In DIAdem it is only possible to do software-timed counter measurements. For counters hardware-timed sampling is not supportet and has to be done via NI-DAQmx API in e.g. LabVIEW.
