Support for PXI Programmable Resistor Modules in VeriStand

Issue Details

I want to use programmable resistor PXI modules (PXI-272x) in VeriStand for my real-time test application. Does VeriStand support these modules directly ?

Solution

VeriStand does not have direct support for programmable resistor modules (PXI-272x). You can however use them in VeriStand through a custom device.

Follow the instructions provided in the article Using the PXIe-272x Programmable Resistor Modules with NI VeriStand for further information on how to use the custom device. 

Additional Information

If you wish to use an NI or third party device not supported by VeriStand directly, you can develop a custom device for it in LabVIEW and import it into VeriStand. Many such custom devices are available on Github and ni.com. Note that not all of these custom devices are officially supported by NI.
