NI Veristand Models Built With the Mathworks, INC. Simulink® Aborted

Issue Details

I have a model in The Mathworks, Inc. Simulink® software that I am trying to use in NI VeriStand, but my model compilation is failing with the following message:

Aborted due to an error in the build procedure for model: <Model Name>

What steps should I take to troubleshoot the problem?

Solution

This issue can happen if there is any spaces in the file path. As mentioned in External Link: Build Process Support for Folder Names, to avoid issues from folder names with spaces when Windows short file name support for file names is disabled, do not use paths with spaces.
