Bus Error Frames Shown in NI-XNET Bus Monitor

Issue Details

When running XNET Bus Monitor to check the status of my NI-XNET device, I am noticing the presence of Bus Error Frames. What are such frames and what do I need to do?

Solution

Bus Error Frames notify that the NI-XNET device detected a bus error on the CAN Bus. You can find in the NI-XNET Hardware and Software Manual additional details about the Bus Error Frame content, in order to investigate its root cause.
