"LabVIEW: (Hex 0x7): File not found" Error When Deploying VeriStand Project with XNET Database

Issue Details

I added some XNET hardware and its associated Dabase to my System Definition file in VeriStand, and when I try to deploy to the Real-Time target I get the following error:

How can I fix this?

Solution

This generic error can happen for one or various of the following reasons:

  • The XNET driver has not been installed in the Real-Time target.
  • The XNET driver version in the Real-Time target is not the same as the host PC.
  • The XNET hardware doesn't have an associated database or it has been moved/deleted.

Make sure you've followed the steps above, and if you're still having issues please contact NI for Support.
