"LabVIEW: (Hex 0x7): File not found" Error When Deploying VeriStand Project with XNET Database

Issue Details

I added some XNET hardware and its associated Database to my System Definition file in VeriStand. When I try to deploy to the Real-Time target I get the below error. How can I fix this?

LabVIEW: (Hex 0x7) File not found. The file might be in a different location or deleted. Use the command prompt or the file explorer to verify that the path is correct.

Solution

This generic error can happen for one or various of the following reasons:

• The XNET driver has not been installed in the Real-Time target.
• The XNET driver version in the Real-Time target is not the same as the host PC.
• The XNET hardware doesn't have an associated database or it has been moved/deleted.
