An Error Occurred While Installing a Package: NI-Msvcrt-2015 in NI Package Manager

Issue Details

When I try to install NI software the NI Package Manager Return the following error message:

An error occurred while installing a package: ni-msvcrt-2015

Solution

This usually occurs when there are unexpected issues with stability with the online installers installing Visual C++ Runtimes.

This can be fixed by using offline installers instead.

To access the offline installers:
  1. Go to Software and Driver Downloads on the NI website.
  2. Find the desired software to install.
  3. Choose supported OS, version, edition, and any other option you wish to install.
  4. On the right side of the screen, click on Install Offline next to the download button.
  5. Try installing the software one more time using the offline installer.
