No Vision RIO Resource Error With VBAI

Issue Details

I run a Vision Builder for Automated Inspection (VBAI) inspection on an Industrial Controller. When I edit Generate Pulse (Vision RIO) step in an existing inspection, I get an error which states - "This step requires a Vision RIO device. No Vision RIO device is currently installed in this computer..."

How can I resolve this problem ?

Solution

Follow the steps below to resolve this issue :

1) Update Industrial Controller Device Driver
2) Upgrade firmware on the Industrial Controller using the steps given in the article Upgrading or Downgrading Firmware on an NI Linux Real-Time Device
