RTSP Support in G Web Development Software and SystemLink

Issue Details

I have numerous IP cameras and I would like to stream its content to web applications using Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP). May I know are webVI created by using LabVIEW NXG Web Module, G Web Development Software and SystemLink Dashboard support video streaming using RTSP?

Solution

No. WebVI created by using LabVIEW NXG Web Module, G Web Development Software and SystemLink Dashboard do not support real-time streaming of IP Camera using RTSP. In general, RTSP is not supported by web browser. You need an intermediate server to transcode the video streaming to a format compatible to be displayed in web browser.
