Error -Certificate Load Error When Installing ECC Certificate and Server Key

Issue Details

I have ECC signed Server Certificate and ECC Server Key files which I would like to install in NI Web Server Configuration Utility while configuring my Web Server for authentication. However, I get the below error:

Certificate Load Error

The selected file ws-server.key could not be loaded. It may be in an invalid format or encrypted with a password.

I do not get this error when installing RSA signed Server Certificate and RSA Server Key.

Solution

The NI Web Server does not support ECC Server Key and ECC signed Server Certificate. It only supports generating RSA signed Server Certificates and Server Keys. Hence while installing the Server Certificate and Server Key it does internal checks to make sure that the certificate and key files conform to RSA standard.
