Issue Details

I have a PXI(e) controller with Windows/Real-Time OS and I would like to program the USER LEDs on my controller to depict the system/application state. However, I am not able to find any LabVIEW API that allows me to program these LEDs.

Solution

  • PXI(e) controllers with Phar Lap/Linux RT OS: You can use the RT LEDs VI to control the LEDs on your Real-Time PXI(e) controllers.
  • PXI(e) controllers with Windows OS: This is an unsupported feature and NI does not provide an API to control these LEDs on a windows PXI controller.
