Issues Seeing ISM Integrated Stepper Motor in NI-MAX

Issue Details

I am trying to control my new ISM-7412E stepper with the SoftMotion module. I am on the same subnetwork and can ping the ISM-7412E, but the device won't show up in NI-MAX.

Solution

It won't be possible to be able to see the ISM Integrated Stepper Motors from NI-MAX, as most of our motion equipment doesn't utilize the DAQmx API. It is typically called either directly from LabVIEW using the SoftMotion API, or by utilizing the Stepper Configuration Utility.
