Error -63192: The Specified Device Was Not Found

Whenever I try to open the RFmx SpecAn Soft Front Panel to access my Vector Signal Transceiver (VST) device, I get the following error. Also, if I try to run the intermediate Self-Calibration for this device, I get the same message.

I am seeing this error after moving my VST from one chassis to another. It is the same chassis model and slot number. When I try to initialize the device from LabVIEW using the RFSA/G Initialize API call, it gives me an error saying I have an invalid resource name, and to “use MAX to find proper resource name”. However, the LabVIEW resource name parameter matches the name in MAX. How can I resolve this?

This error is caused by a device configuration that remains in the software environment after system changes.

After the error occurs, perform the following steps to resolve the issue:

Repair the NI MAX database using the steps described in Reset and Fix the Measurement & Automation Explorer Database File. This helps remove any outdated hardware configuration.
Unassociate the LO from the PXIe-5842
Rename and save the PXIe-5842 and PXIe-5655. If you want to keep the existing name, rename the device to temporary names and then change them back to their original names.
Reassociate the LO.
