Error -63192, -1074134944: RIO Resource Name Invalid or Device Not Found

Issue Details

I am seeing this error after moving my hardware from one chassis to another (same model and slot number). RFSA/G Initialize gives me an error saying I have an invalid resource name, and to “use MAX to find proper resource name”. However, the LabVIEW resource name parameter matches the name in MAX. How can I resolve this?
 

Solution

Rename the device in MAX. If you prefer to keep the same name, rename the device to something else and then change the name back to the original. The issue is caused by a device naming conflict in our drivers. Renaming the device in MAX synchronizes the drivers and removes the conflict.
