USB 8502/2 Not Detected in NI-MAX on Windows 7

Issue Details

I am using a Windows 7 machine, and was having issues discovering my USB 8502/2 in both my Windows OS and NI-MAX. I have NI-XNET 18.0 installed, and when I try a USB-8501 it seems to connect fine without any issues. What could be the issue?

Solution

There are no known compatibility issues between NI-XNET 18.0 and the USB-8502, so this is likely an issue with the driver. A reinstall of the NI-XNET driver should resolve the issue, or update to the most recent compatible version for your system.
