How to Open a Soft Front Panel Instead of InstrumentStudio

Issue Details

I recently upgraded my Modular Instrument drivers and now I am unable to open the Soft Front Panel. Instead InstrumentStudio opens up and I am unable to use my device in the same way. Is there a way to open the Soft Front Panel?

Solution

You can still open the Soft Front Panel, even if you have installed the latest version of your driver. You can open the Soft Front Panel by following this file path: 

C:\Program Files (x86)\IVI Foundation\IVI\Drivers

Note: InstrumentStudio has replaced Soft Front Panels in newer software moving forward. This is to bring together all Soft Front Panels in one place as a new unified piece of software.
