How to Open a Soft Front Panel Instead of InstrumentStudio

Issue Details

I recently upgraded my Modular Instrument drivers and now I am unable to open the Soft Front Panel. Instead InstrumentStudio opens up and I am unable to use my device in the same way. Is there a way to open the Soft Front Panel?

Solution

InstrumentStudio has replaced Soft Front Panels in software drivers as of version 21.3. This is to bring together all Soft Front Panels in one place as a new unified piece of software. 

You still can find the legacy Soft Front Panels if you install a version prior to 21.3 (for example, NI-DMM 20.0). You can open the Soft Front Panel by following this file path: 

C:\Program Files (x86)\IVI Foundation\IVI\Drivers
