Error -19058 When Building TestStand Deployment

Issue Details

When trying to build my TestStand deployment, I receive the following error message along with various products listed in the "Details" list:

Error -19058: One or more products are included in the .tsd file that are not installed on the system. You must deselect these products in the drivers and components dialog before building an installer.

Solution

  • If the products listed in the "Details" list are not needed for the deployment, refer to the help topic on Error -19058
  • Otherwise, reinstall TestStand and any application development environments (LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI,etc.) you are using in your build.

Additional Information

This error suggests that the product installers are missing from the MDF Product Cache. The product cache is where all non-packaged based NI product installers are stored on disk for handling repair, uninstall, and redistribute operations. For more information about the product cache and how it interacts with the TestStand Deployment Utility, refer to Clearing the Product Cache (though don't clear the cache, that will not help in this case).
