Issue Details

I have several cDAQ-913x controller, and on each controller I will receive an analog input signal. However, the analog input to be performed on each controller requires synchronization with the start trigger. I realize that the  NI cDAQ-913x controller has the PFI0 SMB pin. So can I use this PFI0 SMB pin as a start trigger for acquisition of analog input?

Solution

Yes, it's quite possible. The PFI0 SMB Connector on NI cDAQ-913x is designed to get the digital input signals. You can specify /cDAQ(or device name)/PFI0/ in the Digital Start Trigger Source, the input terminal of the DAQmx Start Trigger (Digital Edge).vi in the DAQmx API. Below figure shows the input source specified by the Digital Start Trigger Source in LabVIEW.
