Issue Details

How can I synchronize between different Modules in LabVIEW FPGA?

 

Solution

To be synchronized,
  1. Use the same master timebase source
  2. Start at the same time
  3. Be read from a single FPGA I/O node. Refer to below figure.
But, there is something to be careful about.
  • Used when I/O update rates for synchronized modules must be the same.
  • The maximum sample rate should be faster than the update rate for each synchronized module.
