Error -89123 When Performing NI-MAX Self Test in NI-DAQmx Devices

Issue Details

When I perform NI-MAX Self-Test or Self-Calibration, it returns this error: 
Error -89123 occurred at an unidentified location

Possible reason(s):

Hardware necessary for this route is in use by another route or routes.

This error is shown in the following dialog box.

Solution

This error may appear if other software, such as a LabVIEW or LabWindows/CVI code, is running a DAQmx task that contains the same device while you perform Self-Test or Self-Calibration in NI-MAX. To prevent this error, ensure no DAQmx tasks are running while you perform self-test or self-calibration.
