Issue Details

How to extend the monitor on PXIe 8135 controller running Windows 7 OS? When I try to extend the display using display settings, it is getting duplicated instead of extending.
 

Solution

Outdated peripheral drivers are the root cause for this issue. Updating the peripheral drivers will help you in resolving this problem.
You can download the Peripheral Drivers for Controllers and install them on your own, peripheral drivers will vary for controller to controller and for various versions of OS.

If you don't see your specific PXI controller in the link, check for a PXIe driver of the same version. For example, PXIe-8115 peripheral drivers should work on the PXI-8115.
