What Programming Language Can I use to Control NI RF Devices (VSG/VSA/VST)?

  • I would like to know what programming language shoud I select to use a NI RF device (like PXIe-5840).
  • I am considering to use a NI RF devices from MATLAB, It is possible?

Solution

The NI RF instrumentation use the drivers NI-RFSA and NI-RFSG to acquire and generate RF signals.

Additional Information

These drivers support the follwing languages:
  • LabVIEW
  • LabWindows/CVI
  • .NET Framework
  • C
Notre: You cannot use the Instrument Control Toolbox MATLAB control these devices.
