Log-in Message "User does not have permission to access InsightCM"

Issue Details

I have already mapped Active directory users with my InsightCM server. When any of this users attempts to log in they receive the message: 
"User does not have permission to access InsightCM"

The server do not allow me to log in on the InsightCM web Application 

What is the cause of this issue?

Solution

The root cause of this issue is that users that are within certain role require a minimum level of permissions to be able to log-in. The configuration of permissions for a certain role is going to be blank if you are receiving this message when attempting to log-in:


The minimum permission you need to add to this role is the icm_show which allow users to view only data and configurations. To add that permission you need to click on add under the Role selector and look for this permission within than list then click ok 

 

Additional Information

If you add any other permission to the permissions list it will automatically include the icm_show as a permission granted to this role
