Generic Error in GDI+ During TestStand Execution

Issue Details

During execution in TestStand, my sequence was paused and I receive the following error. 

A generic error occured in GDI+.
 

Solution

This is a known bug in Windows XP. This solution may apply to newer systems experiencing similar issue as well, where the resources used by the system should be reduced. The workaround is to turn off the user interface theming, as described below. 
  1. Click Start>>Control Panel.
  2. Select Appearance and Themes>>Display.
  3. Select the Themes tab of the Properties box.
  4. Select the Windows Classic theme and select Apply.
You may have to restart your computer after making these changes to see the fix.
