NI VLM Shows Software as Licensed, Client Computer Shows Software in Evaluation Mode

Issue Details

I am using NI VLM which says that the software is successfuly licensed, however on the client machine the software shows as being in evaluation mode. 
What is happening and what should I do?


It is possible that National Instruments (NI) License Manager is running 2 licenses for the software: Network License and Evaluation License. This means that it would show both and could look like it licensed on the host server and not on the client machine. To check this, confirm that the software can work successfully on the client machine on start-up of the program and shows as being pulled correclty from the server. 

The easiest approach to stop this is to wait for the evaluation mode to expire. At this point, the network licenses on NI License Manger on the client machine should go gree as shown in the picture below.
