Why is my VeriStand Multi-Host Connection Failing to Update Screen on Second PC?

Issue Details

I am following this article to connect two host PCs to the same VeriStand gateway, The connection works since I am able to see both hosts connected from VeriStand but from the second PC, the screen elements are not updating. Is this expected?

Solution

This behavior is not expected, screen files should be able to display the changing numeric indicators. If your screen is not updating properly try checking the following items:
  • Make sure that you manually connect from the second PC by clicking from the top menuĀ Operate > Connect.
  • Check if the faulty screen file is different than the one deployed from the main host.
  • Check if the communication is still open from both PCs by pinging the gateway address.
