Issue Details

I have changed my hardware system configuration and using PXIe-8301 to connect my PXIe chassis to my laptop via Thunderbolt, but I keep getting error -200279 when running my program and LabVIEW sample program. I do not have this error when running these programs with my old system that do not use Thunderbolt interface. What is the possible cause of this error?

Solution

Error -200279 usually related to PC buffer overflow.
Please refer to Error -200279: Unable to Keep Up With Acquisition in NI-DAQmx for troubleshooting steps.

Besides, this error could also happen due to the connection problem cause by the Thunderbolt interface.
Try to Disable Active State Power Management (ASPM) in your BIOS Settings by consulting your motherboard's manual. If your BIOS does not allow you to disable ASPM, configure it through your Windows Settings.
  1. Open your Advanced Power Plan Settings.
  2. Expand PCI Express>>Link State Power Management.
    1. For On Battery and Plugged In, open the drop-down menu and turn off the Link State Power Management setting.
