  • I have developed a Plug-In for FlexLogger using the FlexLogger Plug-In Development Kit. Do I need a separate deployment or runtime license to distribute it to other PCs?

Solution

No, FlexLogger does not come with a debug or deployment license. The only Runtime required to distribute a Plug-In is LabVIEW Runtime (64-bit).

When developing a FlexLogger plug-in, a Packed Library is created in the LabVIEW project. This library must be built and included in a LabVIEW Package Build Specifications along with any standalone application that interacts with the library. The LabVIEW Package can then be installed on the deployment PC.

Note: FlexLogger, the FlexLogger Plug-In Development Kit, and LabVIEW 64-bit must also be installed on the deployment PC to use the Plug-In.
