Does Connecting a Signal to The Counter Gate Input Affect The Edge Counting Measurement?

Issue Details

I connected a clock signal to the Counter0 Source and another signal to the Counter0 Gate.
I want to implement a Count Edges task that only uses the clock signal of the source input.

Does connecting a signal to the counter gate input affect the edge counting measurements?
 

Solution

The Count Edges task uses the counter source input as the default input. Therefore, the signal you have connected to the counter gate input will not affect your measurements.
