Unable to Setup Camera Module on NI Measurement & Automation Explorer (NI MAX)

Issue Details

Customer want to use PCIe-1437 with his camera module. When PCIe-1437 is inserted into the PC, it was detected in Measurement & Automation Explorer, but customer unable to perform camera selection to setup the camera module. camera 1.png
The main reason is because an exception might have occurred in the BIOS settings during resources distribution.

Solution

By resetting the BIOS settings while inserting the PCIe-1437 into the PC, the issue was able to be resolved.

Steps to reset the BIOS from the BIOS interface :

1. Turn on the computer.
2. Tap the F2 key several times until Entering Setup appears.
3. Reset the BIOS to factory defaults. The method to reset the BIOS varies between different computers :
  1. Click the load defaults button.
  2. Or , press the F9 key to load default settings.
  3. Or, press the Alt + F key to load default settings.
4. Press the ESC key and select Save and exit and Exit.
5. Press the Enter key to save all changes and exit the BIOS setup screen. 
6. The computer restarts.
